I lead a talented and equally passionate team that is dedicated to helping American businesses. alliantgroup has helped its clients claim over $6 billion in tax incentives to date, and has become a staple in the Houston area.”
Dhaval Jadav is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of alliantgroup, a Houston-based national services firm which works with small and mid-sized businesses in the United States claim their due tax and credit incentives. While originally being born in Manhattan, he primarily grew up in Texas and California. His father’s work as an electrical engineer supplemented his interest in technology, and
Dhaval went on to advise multiple San Francisco-based technology companies.
Dhaval holds a Masters of Laws (LLM) degree in taxation from Georgetown University Law Center, and is a licensed attorney in the state of Texas. After graduating and serving public and private sectors, he worked in the Houston District Counsel Office of the International Revenue Service before moving on to work at one of the Big Four accounting firms, Deloitte & Touche.
Earlier in his career, Dhaval Jadav had begun learning about tax incentives for U.S. business behaviors, some of which included incentives for manufacturing, research and development, and exporting. The more Dhaval researched incentives, he began to realize that small and mid-sized businesses were not receiving education and advice on incentives that larger, Fortune 1,000 companies often received when served by the Big Four. Without this education, small and mid-sized businesses were not aware of which advantageous incentives they could claim. After this realization, in 2002, Dhaval and his co-founder founded alliantgroup to help educate smaller businesses on incentives and help them claim on available incentives and deductions.
At alliantgroup, Dhaval Jadav has had the opportunity to further contribute to the Houston community. His interest in technology and innovation has not waned, and he especially takes pride in his involvement with alliantgroup’s STEM scholarship program. As he believes the American economy is largely driven by technological innovation, he is proud to be part of a program that supports community growth by providing scholarships to high school students in the Houston area seeking to pursue careers in STEM-fields.
To continue giving back to the community, Dhaval Jadav also established alliantgroup Gives Back, a program which encourages alliantgroup employee participation in charitable incentives. Along with his participation at alliantgroup, Dhaval has also partnered with organizations such as ZMFF&J Law, and DSquared Tax Strategies. In addition to his work in the field, he has also contributed to several industry publications, including Harvard Business Review and Reuters Breakingviews.
